Compass

Compassis Pro Helvetias platform to present productions. Productions can range from readings over dance to theater. We implemented the frontend as well as an backend adminstration application. Content and site are multilingual and searchable. To ease creation of content (for artists, translators and Pro Helvetias employees) we implemented a workflow system which comes complete with versioning and time based publication.

Technologies used are Ruby on Rails, AJAX, Adobe Flex, Flash.

The application is up and running and the frontend part is open to the public. Go check it out at compass.prohelvetia.com

Lukas has also blogged about it. The post includes some details on the application as well as the development process

Yousty

Yousty is a platform for trainees, learners, apprentices and so on. It's about finding a company for an apprenticeship, finding out what jobs your interested in and discussing this with other people. Currently Yousty is only available in german (targeting Germany, Switzerland and Austria).

We helped them with deployment of the live system and will, from now on, continue to develop the system.

Technologies used are Ruby on Rails, AJAX (Prototype), Amazon (EC2 and S3)

Babysitting24

Babysitting24 originally approached us to include a billing solution into their application. In the meantime we're working together on a number of projects, extending the capabilities of the platforms.

tempobrain.com

Tempobrain handles a lot of contracts, identification cards and so on every day. To keep track of these documents there is a barcode with a ID on each page. We implemented a system with multipage-scanner, barcode extractor (extracts barcodes from images), barcode font and a management backend system.

Whenever a document enters or leaves the offices the barcodes are scanned and stored in the system. The barcodes are extracted and are used to categorize and sort the documents.

Technologies used are Ruby on Rails, AJAX (Prototype) and Java

Nicole Pont

This is a pro bono project. Nicole is a photographer we know for quite a while. We implemented a small app for her: half gallery, half CMS. Check out her pictures at nicolepont.ch (german).

A swiss private bank

With this customer we did rapid prototyping sessions. While discussing their application with business and IT people we developed a prototype and refined it over time. The concepts and ideas of the prototype were then used in the new web application.
We can not tell the name of the Bank or show pictures of the prototype.
